The Vidhana Soudha police have registered a case against city based private school for forging the Fire Safety NOC to avail CBSC affiliation.
The accused identified as Gurappa Naidu,chairman of the BGS bloom field school in Thyagarajanagar and its trustee,Sunitha Naidu have also submitted the forged documents to misguide the High court,which was revealed during the verification.
Based on the complaint filed by Sudha Katwa,city based advocate,the Vidhana Soudha police have charged the accused under section 336 (3),(forgery as making a false document or electronic record with the intent to cause damage or injury, or to deceive) section 336 (3) (fraudulently or dishonestly using a forged document or electronic record) for further investigations on Tuesday.
The forgery came to light when Ms.Sudha filed a writ petition against the school for constructing the building on storm water water drain.
The accused replying to the petition filed objections along with the set of documents including NOC on fire safety measures from the fire and emergency services .
Suspecting the credibility of the certificatre which was obtained from Anjinapura office instead of the jurisdictional Chamarajapet,Ms.Sudha sought the details of the certificate through RTI and found that no such NOC was issued .
The matter was brought to the notice of the court before filing a complaint with the police.
The accused have not only cheated the court and the government agencies but also to the students and public in general .
The accused had even tampered with the building sanction plan which was taken for the construction of the hostel but they had built ground plus four storeyed building .
The accused also did not have occupancy certificate and running the school illegally,the complainant added.
Ms.Sudha also suspected the possible involvement of officials from the concerned department and urged the police to probe in detail.
