The SIT probing BJP MLA,Munirathna’s case filed a supplementary charge-sheet in two of the cases which according to the officials have more proof to corroborate his involvement.
The supplementary chargesheets were filed before the Special Court against Munirathna from RR Nagar in Bengaluru is accused of hurling casteist abuses,rape, voyerism and attempting to spread dangerous disease.
The SIT chargesheet,apart from Munirathna also charged Ayyanna Reddy,inspector from the Hebbagodi station,and Munirathna’s two associates,P Srinivas and Sudhakar,detailing their roles in the plot.
The SIT was formed in September 2024 after the allegations against the MLA were made public by the victims.
Sources said that the charge sheet contains reports, statements and other evidence which will prove their roles and fit the case for the conviction.
