Man stabbed to death by his relative in an inebriated state over trivial row at parking lot of KSR Bengaluru Railway Station premises

A 48-year-old man was stabbed to death by his relative at the City Railway Station premises on Tuesday.

The deceased Venkatesh,a seller of artificial jewellery on roadside while the accused identified as Ramu,a brother-in-law of the deceased in on the run.

Senior officer told reporters,that the two had a few rounds of drinks on Sunday at the parking lot of the railway station and quarrelled over a trivial row .

Probe revealed that Ramu fled the spot after stabbing Venkatesh,who was initially given first-aid by an ambulance personnel before being moved to the hospital where he succumbed.

The deceased had spoke to the family members while at hospital and responding to the treatment but succumbed due to internal injuries reportedly occurred due to stabbing .

The murder came to light when another relative of the victim tried to reach him and there was was no response,he inquired and found out that he was dead,”a senior officer said,adding that the railway police based on the complaint,registered a case for further investigation.
