espite revised patrolling system on the backdrop of bidar daring bank robbery,revised by city police commissioner recently,house breaks and burglaries continue unabated.
Evident to this,a series of shop burglared in Cholurpalya main road in the wee hours of Thursday making the mockery of the beat system.
A gang of four men on scooter break into the Vishwas Medical shop, bakery and a Nandini milk parlour and made away with valuables and cash worth several lakhs.
The gang also attempted to break into four other shops and escaped.
Despite the gang was moving around fearless for over two hours close to the station,there were no sign of night beat police .
The entire act of burglaries has been recorded on CCTV cameras which has been later submitted to the KP Agrahara police for further investigations.
The accused wee not even wearing masks and their images and the vehicle details were clearly visible. It may be recalled that after two daring bank robberies , City Police Commissioner,B.Dayananda himself set out for night rounds along with the senior police officials to step up the night beat system .
