Frankfurt, Germany: The ongoing Hem Textile Fair in Frankfurt has been a resounding success for carpet exporters from Bhadohi and Mirzapur. The event, which began earlier this week, has seen enthusiastic participation from Indian exporters, with many setting up stalls while others assess the market potential.
Thursday marked the third day of the fair, and the turnout of buyers remained high. Visitors explored stalls, inquired about various carpet designs, and placed significant orders. Exporters are optimistic about the business opportunities emerging from this event.
Promising Response and Orders
Carpet exporter Parvez Ansari expressed satisfaction with the fair, stating, “The fair is doing well. There’s a notable increase in inquiries for carpets and tufted products. Buyers are focused on securing quality carpets at competitive prices despite the high production costs.”
Pankaj Baranwal, Director of Bhadohi Carpet, compared the fair favorably to Domotex, saying, “Hem Textile Fair is exceeding expectations. Many buyers are here, visiting every stall, and making inquiries. Exporters with stalls are thrilled with the response.”
High Expectations for Next Year
Young exporter Arman Sohail Ansari shared his excitement, noting the fair’s positive impact: “The Hem Textile Frankfurt Fair has been outstanding. Buyers are placing significant orders. This success will likely encourage even greater participation next year.”
Wasif Ansari, an administrative member of the Carpet Export Promotion Council (CEPC), confirmed the event’s success: “The fair has exceeded expectations, with buyers not only making inquiries but also placing substantial orders. This response has been much better than anticipated.”
As the fair progresses, it is evident that the Hem Textile Fair has provided a vital platform for carpet exporters to showcase their products, secure orders, and strengthen their foothold in the international market.
