Manager of private firm & two of his friends arrested and released on bail for allegedly forcing women employee to drink liquor& molested her in moving car on pretext of dropping her home

The Ashoknagar police have registered a case of sexual harassment and insult to modesty against manager of a private firm and two of his friend after they allegedly forced a 22-year-old woman employee to drink liquor and molested her on a moving car on the pretext of dropping her home on December 31.

The victim,who worked in the firm was invited by her manager to go to the pub and forced to drink liquor.

The victim refused stating she is at work,but the accused assured her that he would take the responsibility in case of any objections.

After couple of drinks,the accused misbehaved and touched her inappropriately while they were in a car to drop her home.

The victim raised objection for which the accused dropped her on the road and sped away.

The victim called her mother and managed to reach home somehow,before narrating the ordeal.

The victim later approached the police and filed a complaint on Thursday.

Based on the complaint,the police summoned the accused and arrested them and released on station bail after recording their statement .

The accused refused the allegation and said that the girl had accompanied them to party in a pub and got drunk.

The accused later dropped her home late in the night. In order to escape from being reprimanded by her family , she cooked up a story to put a blame on the accused .
