The High Grounds Police have registered a case against BJP leaders for disfiguring public places and creating nuisance during a protest against priyank kharge demanding his resignation at mourya circle on Tuesday.
Based on the complaint by Shashidhar Vannura,PSI,of High Grounds police station the police charged opposition leader in the council,Chalavadi Narayanaswsmy,CT Ravi,MLC,Ravi kumar among 12 others charging them under Karnataka open place disfigurement act,obstructing public way and creating nuisance for further investigation.
The police have also detained the protestors who staged the protest at the busy mourya circle and pasted poster at public places against priyank kharge accusing him for the death of civil contractor.
The protestors also shouted slogans against Congress party and demanded resignation of priyank kharge.
The police detained the protestors for violating the rules of staging protest at public places without permission.
Speaking to the media Ravi kumar said that protest will continue across the state until priyank kharge resigned .
