China nuclear weapons: 100 nuclear weapons in a single year

 Washington: The US Department of Defense has revealed that China is rapidly developing nuclear weapons. The report titled ‘China Military Power Report-2024’ has said that it has acquired an additional 100 nuclear warheads this year alone. The Federation of American Scientists (FAS) article explained these matters. The report revealed that there were more than 600 nuclear warheads in the Dragon Ball family by mid-2024. It was stated that the number was only 400 in 2019. Statistics show that China had 500 warheads as of May last year. However, within a year, their number has increased by 20 percent to 600. If the same pace continues, US defense sources estimate that Beijing will have about 1,000 nuclear warheads ready by 2030. The report revealed that the Dragon focused not only on increasing the number of warheads but also on their diversity.
