A 25-year-old motorcycle rider was killed when a speeding petrol tanker knocked him down near Pantarapalya metro station on Sunday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Kiran Kumar,HR, worked as technician in a Kannada tele serial and native of Davanagere .
Senior officer said,he was heading towards Nayandahalli from RR Nagar arch at around 6.10 pm when the petrol tanker knock down his motorcycle.
Kiran sustained head injuries and died on the way to hospital .
The Byatarayanapura traffic police have registered a case of death due to negligence against the tanker driver Aravind Kumar Yadav for further investigation.
