Named one as ‘The Curse’ and the other as ‘Varam’ (The Blessing). India’s name is mentioned in those maps belonging to Asian countries. On this occasion, along with the West Bank and Gaza cities, the Golan Heights in Syria were shown as part of Israel.
Benjamin Netanyahu ‘s right hand has countries like Iran, Iraq, Syria and Yemen on the black map named ‘Curse’. The map on the left hand side appeared green. It was titled ‘Varam’. Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia and India were shown in it. Some of the countries listed on the green map are allies of the Netanyahu government, while others are trying to restore ties. Iran was severely criticized on this occasion for the violence in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen. He accused Iran of helping Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis economically and militarily to destabilize West Asia. Benjamin Netanyahu has defended his actions saying that Israel is protecting itself from these groups .
On this occasion, he warned that the Hezbollah group will be dealt a death blow. Daily rocket attacks from Lebanon will not be tolerated, he said. He made it clear that the war in Gaza will stop only if Hamas surrenders, lays down its arms, and releases its hostages. He said that there is no question of stopping the attacks till then. He said that he had actually decided not to come to this conference.. But he came to stand on this platform and refute that many leaders are telling lies.. Netanyahu appears to have ordered the airstrikes targeting Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah from his hotel room in New York. The Israeli army (IDF) has recently revealed that Nasrallah was killed in the rain of bombs.
