US: Modi.. Indian Prime Minister who is very close to America: US ambassador

New York: During the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to America, US Ambassador Eric Garcetti made key comments. He praised that Modi is the closest Prime Minister to America in the history of India and President Biden is the closest to India in US history. It is stated that there are very friendly relations between the two who are acting as representatives of the people of both the countries. He praised the friendship between them as the reason for the growing closeness and relations between the two countries. 

Garcetti said that the growing friendly relations between India and the US will contribute to the growth of strategic, economic, armed and cultural cooperation between the two countries. India, USA, Australia and Japan are members of the Quad Summit as a powerful platform for cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.

“Quad Summit is a forum for discussion among member countries on vision, development, cooperation and problem solving. “We are actively working to create solutions to the Indo-Pacific issues,” Garcetti said.

Recently, a Quad conference was held at the residence of US President Joe Biden. As part of this, the leaders discussed comprehensively the joint concerns, strategies, cooperation between partners in the alliance and future steps in the Indo-Pacific region. They also discussed maritime security, logistics system, strengthening humanitarian aid and cooperation in disaster relief operations.

During the conference, the leaders of the member states released a joint statement titled ‘Wilmington Declaration’. Quad said the strength of the four-nation alliance has increased from earlier. It has stated that it will adhere to the protection of human rights, rule of law, democratic values, sovereignty and territorial integrity and will not engage in the use of force through any international forum including the United Nations.

Prime Minister Modi held separate meetings with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Mutual cooperation in the fields of infrastructure, semiconductors and defense was discussed. He said that India-Japan relations will contribute to the prosperity of the world. Later, he participated in a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky. On this occasion, Modi reiterated India’s support for peace in Ukraine.
