Delivery executive of E-commerce company turned mobile lifter arrested by Bellandur police and recovered 44 stolen mobiles worth Rs.9 Lakhs

The Bellandur police have arrested a 21-year-old delivery executive of E-commerce company and recovered 44 stolen mobile phones worth nine lakh from him.

The accused has been identified as,Alok Jaini,native of Odisha was working in the company for six months and used to steal mobile phones from the company godown situated in the outskirts of the city while receiving the delivery items .

The stolen mobile phones he would sell it to the passers-by for a throwaway prices and use the money for his daily expenses .

Shockingly the company of the staff of the godown are not aware of this until,the Bellandur police based on a tip off that a man was trying to sell branded phones on roadside,rushed to Ibbaluru junction and caught Alok red handed .

The police later raided his house and recovered 43 mobile phones for further investigations.

The police suspect that the accused had stolen and sold many phones earlier without the notice of the authorities concerned .
