In the background of uncertainty, it is known that the staff working in the Indian High Commission and Consulate in Bangladesh who are not on emergency duty and their families have already been brought to Delhi. However, the central government sources disclosed that the diplomats will remain in the bungalow and the diplomatic offices will function as usual. It is in this order that the recent closure of visa centers has become a priority. India has a High Commission in Dhaka and consulates in Chittagong, Rajshahi, Khulna and Sylhet.

Security is tight on Odisha coast
