A 30-year-old motorcycle rider was killed and his friend sustained injuries in a self accident on Lavelle road in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased Sourav ban,working in a apparel shop in Lavelle road had gone out with friends for a tea break when the accident occurred.
He was riding the bike in rash and negligent manner lost control and the duo slipped from the bike.
While Ban killed on the spot,the pillion rider identified as Roieston, 27, sustained injuries.He was rushed to a private hospital where he is being treated.
The cubbon park traffic police have registered a case of self accident for further investigations .
