The NIA officials caught the Rameshwaram cafe blast accused by the hair quite literally.
A abandoned polo cap belonging to the accused helped the officials to zeroing in on him .
Armed with the information the officials confirm that it was Shivamogga ISIS Module to be behind the explosion at Rameshwaram Cafe.
Probe so far revealed that the suspect,Mussavir Hussain Shazib and his associate Abdul Mateen Taha, both from the Shivamogga ISIS module,purchased the cap from a mall in Chennai.
CCTV footage from the mall shows the duo. It is suspected that the duo spent some time in Chennai in January and February where they conducted Dry run .
NIA officials also plan to compare the DNA found on the cap with that of Shazib’s family members.
The NIA officials earlier questioned ISIS Shimoga module members who are involved in other blasts and presently in central prison.
The NIA is also planning to involve the accused in this case as co conspirator.
