Former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said late seer of the Siddaganga Mutt,late Dr.Shivakumar Swamiji has all the qualities to receive the Bharat Ratna posthumously and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is being pressurised to get the seer the country’s highest civilian award .
When the media persons asked about the demand from Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar for conferring the Bharat Ratna award for the late seer,the BJP said even before Shivakumar demanded the highest civilian award for the seer,there had been demand in this regard.
