Siddaramaiah became CM in the name of AHINDA but what has he done for those communities? Bommai questions.
Accusing the state government of doing the appeasement politics by evicting the Hanuman Dhwaj in Mandya,former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said law and order situation has deteriorated and those involved in illegal activities were getting protection.
Talking to reporters here on Sunday,he said the government got the Hanuman flag removed through the police officers.
While Chief Minister Siddaramaiah chants the mantra of “Sarva Janangada Shanthiya Thota” but the law and order situation had deteriorated.
Many incidents had been reported during the prana Pratishthapan of Lord Ram last week.Some persons had been arrested.This has been happening everywhere.
The government was playing the appeasement politics and giving protection to people involved in the nefarious activities.
The former CM said no action has been taken despite attacks on dalit and minority woman, and the atrocities against the women has increased in 30 per cent.
Those who has taken law into their hands were doing illegal activities without any fear and a ‘Jungle Raj’ kind situation prevalent in Bihar, was now seen in Karnataka.
The government didn’t form the Special Investigation Team to probe the Hangal gangrape case.So,the BJP will file a PIL seeking the SIT probe into the Gangrape case
Raw deal for AHINDA:
Asked about the government sponsored convention of the backward classes in Chitradurga, the BJP leader said Siddaramaiah became the CM for two times by making the AHINDA as the stepping stone.
What has he done to those communities? Rupees 11000 crore earmarked for the welfare of the SC/ST has been transferred for the implementation of the guarantee schemes.
Why did the government transfer that money? The Dalits were denied of benefits.Justice had been done to the SC/ST only by the BJP government.
The Congress leaders termed as the election stunt when the previous BJP government launched the schemes for the Dalits.
Despite criticism, the BJP government hiked the reservation for those communities in education and employment.
Now the Congress Party was in power and it has held a convention. But what they reaped during the Assembly polls cannot be repeated, he said.
On former minister G.Janardhan Reddy extending the support to the BJP,Bommai said Reddy had been in BJP and naturally he had appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Not aspirant
Asked about contesting from the Haveri-Gadag parliamentary seat,Bommai reiteratef that he was not at all an aspirant for the Lok Sabha ticket for the Haveri seat. This has been clarified many times.
