three storeyed hardware shop gutted and material worth Rs.25 lakh were destroyed in an accidental fire broke out at the ground floor of the building in Balepet on FRiday night.
The ground floor of Narasimha traders was stored painting material while the first floor of bags and other materials.
The fire was noticed at the ground floor at around 10. 30 pm and due to the inflamable material the fire spread to the other floors.
The fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to rescue one employee who was stranded in the first floor before dousing the fire after four hours of struggle .
However no casualties have been reported in the fire accident.
The Upparpet police have registered a case and are investigating further to ascertain the exact cause of fire .
