Two among pillion rider and BBMP garbage vehicle assistant killed in seperate incidents in Bengaluru

A 34-year-old pillion rider was killed and rider sustained multiple fracture injuries in self accident followed by hit and run case on Malagala flyover in Kamakshipalya police station limits on the early hours of Sunday.

The deceased Dinesh Bhat,a native of Uttarakhand and working as cook at a canteen in a private college.

He was heading towards Hebbal from Banashankari with his friend when the accident occurred .

According to the police the rider Teekraj Bhat was riding the bike in a rash and negligent manner lost control and the duo slipped on the road.

Meanwhile a speeding vehicle coming from behind run over them and sped away.Passers-by rushed the injured to a private hospital where doctors declared Dinesh as brought dead.

The Kamakshipalya Traffic police have recorded the statement from Teekraj and registered a case for further investigation.

In another incident a 47-year-old man was killed after he was knocked down by a private bus while crossing the road near Kidwai hospital on Hosur road on Saturday.

The deceased Narendra,native of Bellary was wokring as assistant in a BBMP garbage vehicle and staying in Adugodi.He was returning home after work and was crossing the road.

With the severe head injury sustained in the accident, Narendra was rushed to NIMHANS hospital where he succumbed in the evening.

The Wilson Garden police have registered a case of death due to negligence against the driver for further investigations.
