A 23-year-old habitual offender was killed after he slipped from the third floor of the paying guest accommodation in Marathahalli on Tuesday .
The deceased Vikram,resident of Shankarpuram had ventured into the paying guest accommodation in a bid to steal laptops .
The accused had stolen two laptops earlier in the second floor and went to the third floor to steal .
However few inmates woke up and raised alarm. In a bid to escape Vikram jumped from the third floor and crashed on the compound wall sustained severe injuries.He was rushed to private hospital where he succumbed on Thursday.
The Marathahalli police have registered a case of attempt to theft and un natural death for further investigations.
