he women protecting wing of the Central Crime Branch on Sunday raided a spa in Mahadevapura which is operating illegal body massage and prostitution racket .
Senior officer told reporters acting on credible information women protection wing of CCB police raided the Nirvana Spa in Mahadevapura and during the raid rescued around 34 women who were brought from other states offering decent jobs and forced into prostitution.
The owner of the Spa identified as Anil said to be operating the racket for many months has taken the two floors of the multi storeyed commercial building on rent .
The police have booked Anil under human trafficking and under immoral trafficking act and questioning him to ascertain his criminal background.
The police based on a tip off,kept a watch on his movements for a nearly a month before conducted raids .
The police caught many customers red handed during the raid and recording their statement.
