The Anti Narcotics wing of the Central Crime Branch on Tuesday arrested a 21-year-old youth and recovered Rs. 8.4 lakh worth 1.5 kilos of Marijuana and 25 MDMA crystals from him.
The accused Bharath,resident of Domlur,is an unemployed graduate,a addict turned peddler .
Senior officer told reporters the accused sourced the drugs from local peddlers and started selling to his clients for the new year celebration.
The accused was arrested on part of the special drive launched against the peddlers ahead of new year eve, The accused has been booked under NDPS act and handed over to the jurisdictional Halasuru police for further investigations.
