An unidentified man called NIA control room,to inform that a bomb has been planted in Raj Bhavan.
The call was made from mobile phone and the caller spoke in English to inform.The staff immediately alerted the Bengaluru city police control room (112) about the call.
The city police swung into action and pressed the bomb disposal squad (BDS),sniffer dog squad,into the operation and after tharough search it was declared hoax.
A special team gathered information about the caller and trying to track him down.
We have some information about the caller and efforts are on to track him down,city police commissioner,B. Dayananda,said.
Meanwhile city police are trying to approach Interpol to get information about the person who sent hoax mails to the schools.
