assengers of BMTC bus narrowly escaped when a speeding car crashed into the parked bus before it went into flames at Chandra Layout bus stand on Nagarbhavi main road on Monday morning.
The bus driver Gourish B,was heading from Yeshwanthpur to Nayandahalli and stopped the bus at the stop to get the passengers while few passenger alighted.
A speeding car crashed into the backside of the bus and fire started.The passengers jumped out soon along with the occupants of the car.
Gourish pulled out the fire extinguisher kept in the bus and doused the backside the fire.
The backside of the bus partially damaged while the car completely gutted.The fire tender rushed to the spot and put of the fire before cordoning the area.
“No one was injured in the accident as both the passengers of car and bus got down immediately “, a senior police oficer, said.
