arnataka Lokayukta Police have conducted massive search operations across the state in connection with 13 disproportionate asset cases registered against 13 Government Officers in Lokayukta Police Stations of Bengaluru City,Kolar,Chikkaballapura,Kalaburagi,Bidar, Koppala,Dharawad,Mysore and Ballary including 3 places in Bengaluru.
On 05/12/2023, simultaneously searches of the residence,office and residences of the relatives of the concerned Accused Government Officers were
conducted in more than (68) places in total.
During search following information about
their acquisition of disproportionate assets was revealed:-
The Lokayukta raids on Channakeshava H.D,Executive Engineer,KPTCL,Present BESCOM,Jayanagar Sub-Division,Banashankari 1st Stage,Bengaluru unearth a total disproportionate assets worth Rs.15.53 crore .
He is among the 13 officials including the relative of state BJP President BY Vijayendra,booked under DA cases after a series of raids a carried in Bengaluru City, Kolar,Chikkaballapura,Kalaburagi,Bidar,Koppala, Dharawad,Mysore and Ballary on Tuesday.
According to the officials,the searches at the seven places belonging to Channakeshava to recover Immovable Assets including Site,House,land Properties and documents worth Rs.11.46 crore .
This is in addition to movable Assets including Cash Rs.1.4 crore,three kilos of gold valuables, 28 kilos of silver articles,Diamond worth Rs.25 lakh Antique worth Rs. five lakh and Sale deeds and other investments worth Rs.13 crore .
The officials also raided the house of Dr. Prabhulinga K. Mankar,District Health Officer,Yadgiri Dist and brother-in-law of Vijayendra and recovered DA worth 1.49 crore .
The officials searched four places belonging to Dr. Prabhulinga and recovered movable and immovable assets .
This according to the officials includes a Site,House, landed Properties and documents worth Rs.1 crore and movable Assets Including Cash,Gold, Silver articles worth Rs.49.04 lakh.
The other officials raided by Lokayukta officials includes :
H.S Krishnamurthy,Chief Executive (Secretary),KMF, Kanminike Village,Ramanagara Dist. No of places raided and searched :5,Total properties seized worth : Rs. 4.09 crore
Properties recovered :Approximate Value of Immovable Assets- Site,House,landed Properties and documents Rs.49.8 lakh .
Approximate Value of Movable Assets Including Cash, Gold, Silver and other house hold articles worth Rs.3.6 crore .
