Drug peddling racket busted by CCB three including Foreign National Drug peddlers arrested seized Synthetic Drugs Worth Rs.50 lakhs

The Central Crime Branch officials of Anti-Narcotics Wing on Wednesday busted drug racket and arrested three peddlers including a foreign nationals operating in the East Division of the city.

The CCB officials based on a specific inputs arrested two persons from Odisha and recovered 15 kilos of Marijuana from them.

The accused used to work as push cart vendors to sell plastic wares in Hennur and Marathahalli to hoodwink the police and sell drugs to their clients.

The accused used to source the drugs from their home town and bring it to the city by train and operating in the city for the last one month, the officer said .

In another incident,the police arrested a foreign national and recovered 180 grams of MDMA,50 grams of 150 ecstasy pills from him.

The accused had come to city on business visa in 2005 and continue to stay even after his travel papers expired.

The total value of the seized drugs estimated to be around Rs.50 lakh and all the accused has been booked under NDPS Act and further investigation is on to ascertain their network.
