Unable to repay loan Family of five including wife and three minor children ended lives at house in Tumakuru

nable to repay the loan,a 36-year-old roadside vendor and his family including wife and three minor children ended lives at their house in Tumakuru on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Gareeb Saab,36, who used to sell kababs his wife Sumaiyya,32,daughter Hajira,14,sons,Mohammad Shabhan,10,and Mohammad Muneer,8,found hanging at their residence in Sadashivanagar in Tumakuru city.

In the video recorded the mobile phone,Garibsap explained how the money lender harassed,humiliated and verbally abusing him to return repay the loan which led him poison his three children before the couple hanged before sharing the video with his friends and relatives.

The police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies for post-mortem.The police also detained five people for questioning.

On Monday Home Minister,G Parameshwara visited the hospital of the deceased and spoke to the deceased relatives .

He directed the police to take strict action against the money lenders to prevent such incidents in future .
