Fake Army Recruitment Scam that Duped 150 Youths to the tune of Rs.1 Crore uncovered by Srirampura Police and Military Intelligence Jointly two conman arrested

In a Joint Operation,the officials of military intelligence and Chitradurga district police,nabbed a 40-year-old conman for running a army job racket and cheating over 150 unemployed youth with 1 Crore,promised to them placement in Indian Army,

Air Force and Navy,in different districts of Karnataka like Chitradurga,Davangere and Haveri districts.

Based on a complaint filed by Prakash,of Davangere district,the official swung into action and arrested Sivaraj Vatagal,a resident of Hubballi,who is a deserter of Indian Army.

The Srirampura Police Station registered an FIR against Sivaraj and his accomplice Ms.Beemmava.The police seized fake identity cards and Army recruitment related documents from him.

The accused has been booked under cheating and impersonation and taken into custody to ascertain his criminal background.
