The Sampigehalli police on thursday arrested a 25-year-old home maker for murdering husband with the help of her elder sister and dumped the body in a toilet pit on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Shakeel Akhtar Saifi (28) from Bihar working as flower decorator at an event management company and stayed with his wife and a child.
Senior officer told reporters,Saifi addicted to vices and even has illicit affair.The accused Nazeera Khatun,25, when objected Saifi started torturing her.
Unable to bear the harassment,Nazeera discussed this with her elder sister Kashmira Khatun,27,who works as domestic help .
Initially she refused but when Nazeer blackmailed her that she would end her life,Kashmira agreed to help.
As per the plan,when Saifi came home and went to bed after dinner,they strangulated him to death and bundled the body in a bedsheet and waited for midnight to carry the body and dumped in a toilet pit before covering it well and returned home.
The deceased brother Akhtar Saifi filed a missing complaint with the police stating that he was missing from home mysteriously and police recovered the decomposed body of Saifi two days later .
Inspector and staff analyzed the crime scene and suspected the role of insiders due to circumstantial evidence picked up Nazeera for questioning.
A detailed probe led her to confess to the crime following which the police arrested Kashmira for abetting the murder .
