F ormer Chief Minister,J.H.Patel was a statesman who would always thought about people’s welfare. The need of the hour was to implement the thinking of Patel to bring transformation in polito, said former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at the 93rd birth anniversary of Patel organised by the J.H.Patel Foundation here on Sunday, he said Patel never felt inflated with praises and deflated with the criticisms.
He always had independent thinking.Patel belonged to the group of thinkers and known as ‘Stithapragna’.A leader was one who had vision.I was lucky because he loved me to the hilt.I was fondly addressed as Basavanna”.
Bommai said everyone would liked to work with Patel as he would do what’s important for the state. He was a social scientist.Patel would be happy always and talked to all happily.
Once D.Devaraj Urs stood in front of Patel and said ” Your CBI came and searched by house and farmhouse but they didn’t get anything”.
To which, Patel said They are fools, tell me where have you kept?’
The BJP leader said Patel was a statesman and his thinking must be implemented. When some.people opposed the division of districts,he went ahead and carved out new seven districts for the better administration.
He would never get closed to everyone but as the chief minister he put pressure on three ministers to do their jobs failing which he would resign.
Have you brought the resignation letters or shall I give my letter head to get your resignation? This has literally scared those three ministers.
The former CM said according to a survey the brain of the scientists had been used the maximum in human beings.
But now they are forced to compete with the AI created by them. The mankind would end once the thinking of human beings stop.
People have to change of the politics has to change. Even the aspirations of the people must also change. Noted thinker Sacrotis was given two choices, will he die or his thinking will be put to end.
But the great thinker preferred to die to keep his thinking alive.Likewise, the thinking of Patel is alive and relevant.
Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad Chairman B.L.Shankar, T.J.Patel and Mahima Patel were present.
