Chandrababu Naidu Arrest: Over 45 hours of suspense

Today-Amaravati: From the arrest of TDP chief Chandrababu till he was taken to Rajamahendravaram Central Jail, the most exciting developments took place for more than 45 hours. It is known that the police raided the place where Chandrababu was staying in Nandyala at 2.45 pm on Friday and arrested him at 6 am on Saturday. Since then Chandrababu was brought to Vijayawada ACB court at 5.58 am on Sunday at the last moment, defying the rule that he can appear before the judge within 24 hours and that deadline will end in 2 or 3 minutes. Earlier on Saturday night, they were being transferred from the SIT office in Kunchanapalli to the Vijayawada Government Hospital, from there to the SIT office and from there to the court. An exciting atmosphere was seen in the ACB court in Vijayawada from Saturday morning to evening. While the lawyers for Chandrababu asked to reject the request made by CID to remand Chandrababu, the lawyers for CID argued that he should be remanded. Except for a short lunch break in between, the arguments of both sides continued throughout the day. After they were completed, at 6.48 pm, the judge ordered that Chandrababu be remanded for 14 days. As a result, the police took Chandrababu from the premises of the ACB court in Vijayawada at 9.30 pm and left for Rajamahendravaram by road. Reached Rajamahendravaram Central Jail after midnight. Within 48 hours, the judge ordered that Chandrababu be remanded for 14 days. As a result, the police took Chandrababu from the premises of the ACB court in Vijayawada at 9.30 pm and left for Rajamahendravaram by road. Reached Rajamahendravaram Central Jail after midnight. Within 48 hours, the judge ordered that Chandrababu be remanded for 14 days. As a result, the police took Chandrababu from the premises of the ACB court in Vijayawada at 9.30 pm and left for Rajamahendravaram by road. Reached Rajamahendravaram Central Jail after midnight.

Without any rest..:The CID officers who arrested Chandrababu kept turning him around for more than 45 hours, depriving him of proper sleep and rest. They left Nandyala on Saturday morning and were brought to the SIT office in Kunchanapally, Guntur district by road at 5 in the evening. There they were asked questions for several hours without rest in the name of investigation. He was kept in the SIT office till Sunday morning. At 3 o’clock in the morning, they took Chandrababu and left the SIT office. Chandrababu, who had not had adequate sleep and rest for almost 21 hours, looked extremely tired and lethargic. When there was a campaign that he was being brought to the court from Kunchanapalli SIT office, he was taken to the Vijayawada Government Hospital and underwent medical tests. At the time when he was supposed to be taken from the hospital to the court, he was again taken from there to the SIT office in Kunchanapally at five in the morning. After staying there for some time, he left for the Vijayawada ACB court and was produced before the judge at 5.58 am. Tedepa has accused Chandrababu, who is 73 years old, of turning him around all night with the malicious intention of troubling him. On this occasion, Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, Keshineni Nani, Kalava Srinivas and other TDP leaders spoke to Chandrababu.

Chandrababu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari and son Lokesh reached there on the information that Chandrababu will be brought to the ACB court in Vijayawada at 3 o’clock after midnight on Saturday. Along with them, Supreme Court lawyer Siddhartha Luthra and a group of lawyers also came there. Since then, Lokesh has been in the court all day. When Chandrababu was being taken to Rajamahendravaram after the remand orders were issued, Lokesh also went along in another vehicle. On one occasion Chandrababu’s wife Bhuvaneshwari got emotional and burst into tears.
