Hyderabad: TPCC president Revanth Reddy has demanded that there should be no shortage of urea in the state. Senior officials should be given responsibility to ensure that there is no shortage. Revanth wrote an open letter to CM KCR to this effect. The farmers want to make available as much urea as they ask for. He said that the Congress government will be the next one. From the next financial year, the fertilizers used by the farmers in Telangana will be supplied free of cost.

“KCR’s promise to the farmers on April 13, 2017 as witness of Pragathi Bhavan has gone without direction. It may be six hundred, but it has been proved once again that you do not keep your word. The roses you put in the ears of free fertilizers are the same. At present, the farmers in the state are facing many problems due to lack of fertilizers. Urea shortage is acute in the united Nalgonda district. Farmers in Toguta mandal of CM’s own district are suffering from shortage of urea. “They are complaining that they are not able to find a casino for a week,” said Revanth.
