Former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu was arrested by the police.

Nandyala: Former chief minister and TDP national president Nara Chandrababu has been arrested by the police. First, the police reached the bus where he was staying at the RK function hall in Nandyala. Talked to him and took him into custody. CID police said that Chandrababu was arrested in connection with the skill development case. After conducting the medical tests, he said that he is being moved to Vijayawada in the convoy under NSG security. Chandrababu signed the arrest documents. Chandrababu is likely to be produced in the ACB court in Vijayawada.

Chandrababu’s health condition is not good

Chandrababu’s lawyer reacted to his arrest. “Medical tests were done on Chandrababu. Chandrababu has high BP and sugar in medical tests. We are trying to get Chandrababu bail in the High Court. Chandrababu’s health condition is not good. Sections not related to the case were registered. He has been named as the 37th defendant in the skill development case.

Hydrama all night

There was great excitement at the RK function hall where Chandrababu stayed earlier. A large number of police reached the place where Chandrababu was staying after midnight on Friday. Police teams were brought from Anantapur to Nandyas. The forces reached the SP office in six buses. The police were deployed under the supervision of DIG Raghurama Reddy and District SP Raghuveera Reddy. Barricades and check posts have been set up everywhere. Against this backdrop, TDP ranks gathered in large numbers at the function hall of RK. Police reached the vehicle where Chandrababu was staying after 5 am on Saturday morning. The TDP leaders around the vehicle were arrested. Kalava Srinivasulu, Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy, Bhuma Akhilapriya, Jagat Vikhyat Reddy, AV Subbar Reddy, BC Janardhan Reddy and other local TDP leaders were among those arrested.
