A 35-year-old autorickshaw driver was stabbed to death near Srinivasa Mandira in Balepet circle on Wednesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Suresh,native of Huliyurudurga in Tumakuru and working an autorickshaw driver in the city .
Senior officers with others rushed to spot and after inspecting the spot and gathering information he said,Initial probe revealed that Suresh had partied with his friends last night and got drunk.
He said to have had heated arguments with his friends over a trivial row and got stabbed by his friends who fled the scene.
Passers-by noticed Suresh lying in a pool of blood, informed the police .
The Upparpet police have registered a case of murder and looking out for the accused to ascertain the cause of murder.
