The RT Nagar police have taken up a complaint against three men on bike who stole a four-year-old Husky which was out on evening walk in Kavala Bhairasandra on Saturday.
The dog names Whisky was black and white in color was out on walk along with three other dogs escorted by security guard .
It was routine and the dog would walk without leash and come back with the guard .
It was around 9 pm when three men on bike passed-by while the dogs were walking and returned quickly before picking up whisky and sped away.
Shocked Security guard tried to stop and even chased them shouting for help,but in vain.He immediately called the owner,Maheshwar who rushed to the spot and searched for the dog before alerting the police.
Maheshwar,a sales executive by profession continued to search for his pet along with his friends and even circulated an AD seeking information about whisky and also announced cash reward .
whisky is very friendly dog and that is why she did not resist nor barked when she was taken away”, Maheshwar,said .
The police have obtained the CCTV footage and trying to get the image enhanced to identify the accused said a senior officer.
