Yelahanka two engineering students killed and three injured in self accident as the car they were travelling crashed into a metal barricade at Palanahalli gate on Ballary road

Two engineering students aged 21 years were killed while three others injured when the car they were travelling crashed into a metal barricade at Palanahalli gate on Ballary road in Yelahanka in the we hours of Sunday.

While,Karthik Jain who was on the driver seat was killed on the spot his friend sitting next to him identified as Adarsh Kumar,succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The others three who were seated in the back sustained injuries but recovering in the hospital,the police,said.

The victims are friends who are residing in Mattikere after finishing their engineering graduation.The five decided to go to Nandi hills for sunrise view and drove in a car late in the night.However after reaching Hunasamaranahalli, they decided to return and took a u turn.

Karthik who was driving the car was over speeding in a rash and negligent manner lost control at Palanahalli gate and crashed into the metal barricade.

Due to the impact the front portion of the car was mangled.Passers-by alerted the police and rushed to the victim to the hospital where Karthik was declared as brought dead and Adarsh succumbed later .

The Yelahanka traffic police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving,death due to negligence for further investigations.
