Cow Vigilante Puneeth Kerehalli arrested by CCB under Goonda Act

Puneeth Kumar alias Puneeth Kerehalli,the leader of a Pro-Hindutva organization,has been arrested by the police under the Goonda Act.

He was arrested by the CCB police for his involvement in various criminal cases in the last ten years.

In the last 10 years from 2013 to 2023,Puneeth Kerehalli (32) was involved in many criminal cases,and the police,who have closely observed all this, repeatedly involved in anti-social activities,criminal cases were registered against him.

In this background he was arrested by the CCB Police under the Goonda Act.Puneeth Kerehalli hails from Hassan who lived in JP Nagar,Bangalore.

He was running an organization in the name of National Defense Force,and through that organization,he was involved in intimidating traders in the name of cow protection and religious protection,and not only that,he was also involved in threatening people and disturbing the peace of the society.

Information has been given that he developed the habit of asking people for money through phone pay and Google pay on social media for his actions.

The West division police have issued him showcause notice earlier after he was found involved in anti social activities even after he was released on bail in Murder case..

In order to prevent him further social activities detention order was issued against him on Friday and CCB officials executed the order a senior officer said.
