A 40-year-old push cart vendor among the two killed and one critically injured when a water tank from the four storeyed building collapsed on them near Shivajinagar bus stand on Wednesday night .
The deceased has been identified as Arul,owner of push cart which sell egg rice and his customer whose identity is yet to be ascertained
.
The incident occurred at around 10.30 pm when few people are standing around the push cart on the footpath of the building when the water tank along with part of the parapet wall collapsed .
Due to the impact trio buried under the rubble,while others escaped narrowly.
Passers-by along with the police rushed to the spot and shifted the victims to the near-by Bowring hospital where doctors declared the duo as dead .
The condition of the injured is critical and being treated at ICU.The police along with the BBMP officials rushed to the spot and conducted spot inspections .
The police have initiated a probe against the owner of the building charging him under death due to negligence .
