25-year-old food delivery executive was killed when a drunk car driver knocked down his motorcycle in a rash and negligent manner near RR Nagar in the early hours of Monday.
The deceased Prasanna Kumar was on his way to delivery food when the accused car driver identified as Vinayak Chouhan, knock down his motorcycle and tried to escape.
Passers-by found Prasaana lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police and managed to intercept the car near metro station and handed over to the police.
The accused Vinayak,working as sales executive at a car showroow attended the workshop along with his colleagues late in the night and they went for dinner.
They were celebrating the incentive they got for their good work and with the accused had got and consumed alcohol.
The accused later wanted to drop his friend to RR Nagar and knock down the bike of Prasanna Kumar on the way, senior officer said.
The Byatarayanapura traffic police booked Vinayak Chouhan under death due to negligence and drunk driving and rash and negligent driving and seized the car for further investigations.
