Focus to ease traffic,control cyber crime: CM directs Police Officials

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah along with Deputy CM DK Shivakumar with other leaders held a meeting with officials and after the meeting he directed Police Officials to focus on ease traffic menace in Bengaluru City and to control cyber crime in the State.

He was addressing senior Police officers meeting here in Vidhana Soudha today.

People have elected new Government hoping for change.Officers should respond to their grievances,he said.

A separate meeting would be called soon to discuss about easing out Bengaluru City traffic congestion,he added.

He directed the officials to take merciless actions against social media posts that indulge in disturbing the harmony in society,character assassination and provocative in nature.

Police should take stringent action against drug mafia and Hoysala teams should always be vigilant to prevent crimes in the city, he said.

Senior officers should visit and inspect police stations and police officials in the Stations should be courteous with the people who come for grievance redressal.

They should take stringent action to control illegal activities.Rowdism,illegal clubs,drug menace can’t be tolerated and if found,action will be taken against the police,he said.

We will encourage those who work well and we will take action without hesitation against dereliction of duty,he warned.
