A woman attacked a police team with broken bottle and created a drama accused them of molesting her when they went to the crime scene investigation as part of the complaint in wheelers road on Sunday evening.
The woman later identified as Monica,was detained and booked under section 332 (Voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty) and section 353(Assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty)for further investigation.
Head constable Nethravathy YG,who was part of the police team sustained injury when she she tried to pacify Monica armed with the broken bottle.
Ms.Monica,according to Ms.Nethyravathy was furious accusing the police team venturing into her property for spot inspection over a complaint of trespass and criminal intimidation related to property dispute .
The police team led by PSI,Anand Kokkanavar,ASI Dharma Rao,and ASI,Revanna Siddaiah went to site in dispute situated in Sindhi colony on wheelers road in Frazer town.
The accused noticing the police rushed to the spot accuse the police of trespassing and even picked up an empty bottle from the site and smashed against the road to threatened the police and sustained cut injuries in the melee .
She also tore her clothes and accused the police of molesting her and warned to file a case if they did not vacate the place.
Ms.Nethravathy was later given first aid for her injury and was out of danger .
