A delegation comprising of family members of Idris Pasha and members of Muslim community met the Inspector General of Police ( central range) on Monday and submitted a memorandum demanding arrest of the accused at the earliest and also ensure that such incidents are not repeated .
There is a police and law enforcement agencies to take action if there is a violation in the illegal transportation and under prevention of cow slaughter act.
However people like Puneeth who are under the garb of cow vigilantism should not take law into their hands and torture people,the delegation,said .
Adding to the worst the accused even carry weapons like baseball bats and hockey sticks to beat people and use stun guns to torture .
These stun guns are illegal and banned from public use.The police should ensure that such torture and harassment should stop.
Mr.Ravikanthe Gowda hearing them assure to take necessary action failing which the members have decided to intensify the protest.
