A Police Sub Inspector among the three police personnel have been suspended for detaining a suspect of a cheating case to recover the money for for commission.
Based on the allegation,DCP, East division, Bhimashankar Guled ordered an inquiry and found the trio guilty.
Based on the preliminary report the trio have been suspended pending inquiry.
The accused officials identified as Ruman Pasha and his associates constables Lepakshappa and Lakshman have been suspended detained a man identified as Kondappa involved in a cheating case.
He was detained illegally for more than 30 hours at station and forced him to repay the money he has allegedly cheated. The accused officials allegedly did this to receive the commission for the recovered amount
