Today, Hyderabad: Chief Minister KCR ordered to take immediate measures to provide the financial assistance announced by the government to the crops damaged by untimely rains and hailstorms. This amount should be directly deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers. The Collectors should conduct a cluster-wise survey with the local agricultural officials in their district and collect the complete information regarding the crop damage details and submit it to the government. CM KCR held a review meeting on Tuesday at Pragathi Bhavan on crop loss, fallow lands, distribution of sheep, financial assistance to the poor for construction of houses, etc. Government Chief Secretary A. Shanthikumari, Finance Department Special Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Revenue Secretary Naveen Mittal, Agriculture Secretary Raghunandan Rao, Disaster Management Secretary Rahul Bojja and many public representatives participated in this. It is known that in the background of crop damage due to hailstorms, the CM visited the farmers recently. Then the CM announced that Rs.10,000 per acre would be given for the damaged crops. In the review, the CM clarified that these funds should be directly deposited in the farmers’ bank accounts. CS Shantikumari and Agriculture Department Secretary Raghunandan Rao have been ordered to start action immediately in this regard.

Distribution of sheep: As already announced… CM KCR ordered the officials to start the second phase of sheep distribution program. He said that the purchase and distribution of sheep will be done under the leadership of the collectors. The Chief Minister ordered to take steps towards providing financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh announced for the construction of houses to the deserving poor who have vacant plots. In the context of the government taking steps towards a permanent solution to the problem of waste land in the state.. is the authority ready to distribute degrees to the deserving? The Chief Minister reviewed the issue. Regarding the 4 lakh acres, the officials told the CM that they have printed and prepared pass books to provide 1.55 lakh deserving people with diplomas. The CM said that the date will be announced soon for the distribution of badges to the eligible.

Rs. crore for the welfare of Sitaram

On the occasion of Sri Rama Navami, KCR has sanctioned one crore rupees from CM’s special fund for the welfare of Sri Sitaram to be held in Bhadrachalam on 30th of this month. In the background of loss of income of Bhadrachala Devasthanam for 2 years due to Corona.. CM took this decision on the request of Devadaya Department. The officials were ordered to organize the celebrations in a grand manner.
