A positive change is taking place in the State and the awareness is created among the people.The electorate will select them on the basis of work,Chief Minister Basavaraj said.

Speaking after distributing title deeds to the beneficiaries and laying foundation stones for various works in Honnali and Nyamati here on Friday,the government has disbursed Rs.3000 crore towards the crop damage,Rs.5 lakh for houses with more damaged and Rs.3 lakh for houses with less damage.The relief had been released within one month.

The Raitha Vidyanidhi scheme has reached 13 lakh children.The Yashasvini scheme has been reintroduced. This year, Rs.185 crore has been earmarked towards the life insurance premium of farmers.

The agriculture loan at the zero percent interest rate has been hiked from Rs.3 lakh to Rs.5 lakh.Several schemes such as Stree Samarthya, Swami Vivekananda self-employment have been implemented.

Honnali MLA M P.Renukacharya has implemented several programs in his constituency and became popular.

Social justice

The CM said the real social justice was given by his predecessor B.S.Yediyurappa and has given 30 percent of the Bhagya Lakshmi scheme to the minority girl students.

He developed Kaginele, celebrated Valmiki, Sevalal jayanti and established the development corporations for Lambani and Bhovi.

The quota for SC/ST communities has been hiked in employment and education which was pending for the last 40 years.

The CM said under the Jal Jeevan Mission, tap water has been provided to 12 crore houses of which 40 lakh houses in Karnataka in the last three years.Another 25 lakh houses will get tap water in the next one year.
