New Delhi, March 11th, 2023.i Bhupender Yadav, Union Cabinet Minister of Labour and Employment, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Govt. of India inaugurated the “NDMC G-20 Flower Festival” on the theme of “Colour and Vibrancy” at Central Park, Connaught Place, New Delhi today.
On the occasion Chairperson, NDMC- AmitYadav,Vice-Chairperson – NDMC, Satish Upadhyay, Council Member – Vishakha Shailani, Secretary G20 Secretariat – Muktesh Pardesi, Secretary, NDMC – Dr. Ankita Chakravarty, Financial Advisor – NDMC, Shri Puskal Upadhyay, Senior Officers of NDMC, participants from China, Netherland and Japan were also present.
Addressing after inauguration of Flower Festival Shri Bhupender Yadav appreciated the efforts of NDMC towards organizing the G20 Member countries Flower Festival on the theme of “Colour and Vibrancy” in New Delhi. He further urged the people of the metropolitan city to plant flowers in their surroundings in order to beautify the place and also add joyful smile in their life.
The Chairperson, NDMC – Shri Amit Yadav said that nature smiles through the flowers and people may feel the joy of smiling nature to beautify the inner soul. He informed that NDMC has organised a 2 Day Flower Festival with plants of different colours & varieties of G 20 countries flowers displayed in the different forms and installations. NDMC also displayed different flower plants showcasing the diversity of the Indian Sub- continent.
He urged the people of Delhi to come and experience the blossoming nature at flower festival. The timings of the Festival will be from 7:00AM to 10:00PM. The Entry will be free for the general public and will be from Gate opposite to D Block. The public can also purchase their favorite Plants, Flowers etc from various stalls.
