Armed gang hacked a 46-year-carpenter to death in brutal manner close to his house in Jnanabharathi police station limits on Wednesday night .
The deceased Dinesh Kumar, was living in a rented house in Veerabhadra layout with his wife and two children his wife Lakshmi worked in a garment factory .
Senior officer told reporters,On Wednesday night Dinesh as usual returned home from work at around 8.30 pm and handed over the vegetable bag to his daughter stating that he has some urgent work to attend.
Few minutes later,a neighbour came rushing to the family to inform that Dinesh was lying in a pool of blood near a bank on Doddabasti
road .
The family members rushed to the spot and found Dinesh with two deep cut injuries on his neck and face and found him unconscious.
He was rushed to a near-by hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
The local police with senior officers rushed to the spot and conducted spot investigations to find the assailants had dumped the weapons a 40 feet away from the scene of crime .
Based on the complaint filed by Lakshmi,the police have registered a case of murder and probing to ascertain the identity of the assailants he added.
