A 38-year-old home maker killed on the spot when she lost control over the scooter she was riding and came under the moving goods vehicle on Kasturba road on Monday.
The victim,Sudha Kumaravelu,resident of Bharati Nagar was returning home after dropping her daughter to the college .
While riding she lost control and slipped from the scooter and run over by the goods vehicle coming from behind.
The Cubbon Park traffic police rushed to the spot and arrested the driver Allabaksh,51,charging him under death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving and seized the vehicle.
