Man poured petrol and set the pawn shop on fire after heated argument with owner in girinagar

The Girinagar police are on the lookout for a man who set fire to pawn shop over a trivial row with the owner on Sunday.

The accused walked into the shop on Sunday to pawn some gold jewels he was carrying and demanded Rs. 50,000 desperately .

A Heated arguments ensued as Bherulal,54, the shop owner refused.Enraged by this the accused walked out in huff and returned with a plastic bottle filled with petrol and splashed in the shop before setting fire .

The fire soon engulfed the shop and Bhavarlal also sustained minor injuries and escaped.

Residents hearing the cry rushed to his help and put out the fire.The shop was partially gutted.The police based on the complaint taken up a complaint and efforts are on to track him down.

In another incident,a house and a flower decorator shop was gutted in an accidental fire broke out due to LPG Cylinder leakage in Vittal Nagar near deer park in Chamarajpet on Sunday.

The owner of the house and his family members and neighbours ran out of their houses to safety.However the household articles and flower shop gutted and the house structure damaged .

Two fire tenders rushed to the spot to put out the fire . The Chamarajpet police are probing the incident to ascertain the reason behind the mishap.

In another accidental fire which took place in Palace grounds two cars gutted in fire Sadashivanagar police rushed to the spot and are investigating to ascertain the reason behind the accidental fire.
