Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a big gift to the drought-prone Central Karnataka by earmarking Rs. 5300 crore for the Upper Bhadra project in the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman on Tuesday,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Reacting on the central budget in Muddebihal on Tuesday,he said the NDA government has reserved funds for the farm sectors, jobs for youths,industrial development,infrastructure development,and also to railways.
In tune with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s slogans, ‘Sab Ka Saath’, Sab Ka Vikas’, more focus has been given to inclusive development.My biggest thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman”.
